Garden Hotel – Terms & Conditions

Effective as of : 1st Aug 2025

By booking a stay at Garden Hotel, guests agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and legally sound experience for all parties.

1. Booking & Payment

Bookings can be made via our website, by phone, or through approved third-party platforms.
A valid credit or debit card is required to secure all bookings.
Full payment is taken according to the rate policy at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation Policy

Standard rate bookings may be cancelled or amended free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled check-in time (14:00 on the day of arrival).
Cancellations made within 72 hours of check-in will be charged the full stay amount.
Non-refundable bookings are charged in full at the time of booking and cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the booking amount.

3. Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in: 14:00 – 21:00
Check-out: 06:00 – 10:00

Late check-outs may incur additional charges unless previously agreed in writing.

4. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly during their stay.
Anti-social behaviour, excessive noise, or illegal activity may result in removal from the premises without refund.
Only registered guests are permitted in the rooms unless prior approval has been given.

5. Damage, Theft, and Liability

Guests are liable for any damage caused to hotel property, furnishings, fixtures, or equipment.
This includes:
Staining or soiling of mattresses, bedding, carpets, or furniture
Breakages or theft of hotel items
Any damage requiring deep cleaning, repair, or replacement
If the room is rendered unfit for sale, the guest will also be charged for:
Loss of income for unsellable nights
The cost of relocating incoming guests, if necessary
Charges will be applied to the payment card on file and will be supported by evidence (e.g., photographs, invoices).

This policy is in line with the Hotel Proprietors’ Act 1956 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Smoking & Vaping Policy

All rooms and indoor areas of Garden Hotel are strictly non-smoking.
A minimum charge of £250 will be applied for deep cleaning if smoking or vaping is detected.

7. Pets

Pets are not permitted unless explicitly stated at the time of booking or arranged in advance.

8. Lost Property

Any items left behind will be held for 14 days. Postage and handling fees apply for returns.
The Garden Hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

9. Emergencies and Force Majeure

In case of emergencies (e.g., fire, flood, medical), guests must follow staff instructions and evacuation procedures.
The Garden Hotel cannot be held liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, utility failures).

10. Privacy

We are committed to protecting guest data. Personal information will only be used for reservation, billing, and legal purposes.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties unless legally required.

11. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
